Air New Zealand, my fourth favourite airline* are offering special fares this next two weeks to destinations in Australia, NZ, the UK and USA.

For Aussie passengers, there are deals to four US destinations: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu and their new Houston hub.  Sydney to Houston is $A958 in Economy plus add a bag for $1 or $A2,631 in their wonderful Premium Economy. Melbourne to Houston is $A941 in Economy plus add a bag for $1  or $A2,614 in Premium. One way fares are actually higher than round trip! You fly via Auckland.

 

For US customers, the sale fares to Australia  are not so generous with round trip starting at $US1,135 for Economy which is still a great deal! They are also doing the add a bag for $1. I found Houston to Sydney for $US2,999.86 in Premium Economy which is not to be sneezed at!

Air New Zealand are also offering non-stop LAX to London for $1,002 in Economy and under two grand in Premium although the cheapest I could find in that cabin was $2,435.46.

UK customers can currently book for flights from London to LA from £489 in economy or from £926 in Premium.   Starting Monday, for two weeks in April the Air New Zealand team will be travelling up and down  the UK in Chevrolets visiting Travel Agents to promote their London-Heathrow route.  UK agents have a chance to win £2,000, a holiday to California for two and other spot prizes! There will be karaoke!

*Air New Zealand are only beaten by Qatar, Emirates and Cathay Pacific in my experience of flying with them 44 times.
