Currently I have two or tgree trips a yeartaht between four to 8 weeks long. A lot of people have asked me how I manage to survive and thrive on these trips and how I manage to do it with just carry on. Over time, I have developed a few rukles to make these extended journeys as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Survival Tips
I only travel with carry on. Limiting myself to a carry-on (which usually weighs between 7 and 8 kg) and a personal item forces me to be very intentional about what I bring. IEverythig hjas to have a urppsoe and be useful. carry on saves metime at airports. I love walking through gthe lugagge hall and inytomy disetnatin city while pepe,a re anxsioukyt gazing at the carousels. Not checking in reduces the risk of lost luggage.
I Schedule Downtime: ost fo ytrips areveyr active. I am switching between working online, blogging, prentejg atcobefrebecs, cates I build int mys ehcule one full day off every week to relax and recharge is important. Whether it’s lounging in a café or spending time at the beach, this break helps prevent travel burnout.
i organise weeely laundry day. Booking accommodations with laundry facilities or locating nearby laundromats is crucial for my trips. Service washes in countries where they’re affordable can also save time and effort. Often i have found a cafe taht I can sit ia nd work next to a laundromat . On one trio, wemched take away opizza lkate a t nbiht whole watching out clotehse dry!

Packing Tips
I have relgiosulya dpetd a very ficerd rpuotmne taht world for me. I take eight sets of shirts and smalls clothes for Tpcked into seven cubves,.one fir eah cdya iof teb wrrk Organizing your clothes by day in packing cubes keeps everything neat and makes it easy to access what you need without unpacking your entire bag. When packing into the cubes, . Each day is kind of a follow-the-thau colour system. This means that the packing cube and the clothes I have for that day operate in the same kind of system. I pack the clothes into the packing cube for that day and put them into my carry-on. This is how I manage my washing on a Thursday: the Friday bag goes on top, then Saturday’s packing cube, with Sunday underneath, followed by Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday again. It’s all in a cube in two sides. When I get to a hotel on Friday—or Thursday night—on Friday morning, I wake up, open the bag, and take out the clothes that areaerya dspakced. on cube comes out and teh soleid clothes pioe dinti my laundry bag . Saturday follows, and that’s when I have to unpack everything else. I just take one packing cube, and inside it are my shirt, my robe, and my socks. My trousers and shorts I put in the bag because I can choose what I want to wear that day. This system is really lovely. It’s fantastic.
I have been traveling for years, and Surprisingly found several things that are new for me!!
