I have been making a concerted effort to fly more Star Alliance partners having now flown all of the One World carriers.

Flew the SFO-LIS (36 hr stop)-BCN the 2nd week of operation last June. Paid $88 for the upgraded 34″ legroom. Decent IFE, the nice FA hooked me up with a flight (no pun intended) of Portuguese white and red wines offered on-board. Was even able to catch a couple hours of sleep. Seats a bit narrow & hard but flying next to my 11 yr old daughter I had plenty of room.
