A gorgeous walk in Stunning Auckland

A short ferry ride from down town are the communities of Devonport and Cheltenham. a man taking a selfie on a boatBlessed with tranquility, beautiful views, lovely beaches and proximity to Auckland, these communities have been exempted from the significant developments appearing across the rest of the city.

A short walk down to Cheltenham Beach  followed. From there, it was a gentle explore through the suburban streets and a climb up Takarunga / Mount Victoria the highest volcano on Auckland’s North Shore, rising to 87 metres (285 feet).

I finished up eating fresh fish and kumera chips by the water. There are also a range of delightful restaurants in Davenport. A great day.
