The flight departed Auckland Airport just after midday on September 3, 2017 and drew a 440km long and 483km wide heart shape across New Zealand. The airline live streamed the top-secret route in partnership with FlightRadar24 and gradually revealed the heart shaped flight plan during a Facebook Live broadcast.

Koru Care is a New Zealand charity that makes dreams come true for kids who have cancer, kidney disease or heart problems, in other cases, they have lost the use of their limbs or have serious congenital abnormalities.
